“Hi! I’m Dotty Boudreaux, and I recently joined RE/MAX Aerospace as an Associate Broker. I have been a REALTOR since 2001, after serving in leadership positions in Health Care, Human Resources and Corporate Training.
Since becoming a REALTOR, I have had the privilege of working with three RE/MAX offices in the mountains of Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. I chose RE/MAX not only because of the great name recognition and extremely effective marketing strategies, but because of the freedom to really “own my own business!”
Recently, when I moved back to Brevard County, I sought out a company where I could flourish a professional realtor and also have a platform to contribute to the company as well as the community. So I did some homework.
As a part of my due diligence, I attended a couple of open houses one Sunday afternoon. Amazingly, both events were hosted by agents from RE/MAX Aerospace. They were professional and gracious – and when they learned that I was a realtor, both of them in their own way announced the virtues of being a part of the RE/MAX Aerospace family. They were convincing and truly welcoming. That experience caused me to seriously consider being a part of such a culture.
If I had to give an “Elevator Speech” and quickly sum up why this company is so special, I would summarize using 3R’s. Not to oversimplify, but here they are!
Relationships: This company values relationships. People matter and they are genuinely interested in helping and encouraging each other. The Broker is non-competing, accessible and responsive. Celebrations and recognition of individual and company successes are abundant. There is fun and joy while learning and growing together!
Resources: I’m reminded of a statement made by Dag Hammarskjold, Swedish Statesman, and Secretary General of the United Nations some years back. “If the only tool you have is a hammer, then everything looks like a nail!” To have a toolbox that will work for you, you need a drill and a saw and a screwdriver….. AT RE/MAX Aerospace, the tool box is growing regularly, helping and encouraging the entire team to grow and become more valuable to those we serve – inside and outside the company.
Human resources in the form of an expert administrative team is available. I have never experienced so much support and assistance anywhere I have worked in the Real Estate environment. A great support staff makes focused and effective agents.
Results: They speak for themselves. This company knows and lives what Peter Senge says in his book, The Learning Organization, “The only sustainable source of competitive advantage for any organization is the ability to learn faster than the competition.” And I would add: and have a great life along the way!”
